Earlier this year CU Lending Advice began offering a remote course “CLO Bootcamp”.  This remote course is led by Chris Oldag.  Chris is a seasoned credit union executive with decades of experience.

As the CU Lending Advice CLO Bootcamp approaches the 50th session in 2023 it is a good time to share some of the feedback we’ve received.   Congratulations and thank you to those who have completed the journey and gained from the curriculum.  We appreciate the comments.

“This isn’t “artificial intelligence” – I can actually put this advice to use immediately.”

“Enjoyed investing this time.  I got a ton of information I can put to use.”

“Such great approaches, strategies and actionable methods I can put to work serving our member borrowing needs.”

“I was looking for how to, what to, and when to advice and that’s exactly what I got here – thank you for the insights and CLO perspective.”

“Enjoyed the sessions.  Thank you Chris for going off course to explore some of the challenges I’m facing right now – that was a big help.”

“In this role I felt like I should know most of these things but didn’t have a good grasp and now understand far better.”

“We’re struggling, like everyone, with liquidity issues along with productivity challenges.   Chris even spent time exploring deposit gathering approaches the lending team could include in the interview conversations on all sides of our shop.”

“Chris helped avoid blind spots in our approaches to pre-screens while de-risking limit increase strategies.”

“These sessions have included many approaches to better serve our existing and future members.”

“Chris was comfortable discussing everything from incentive pay to centralized lending and helped me with loan participation questions.”

“We have used these sessions to discuss growth as an organization and develop me as an individual to keep meeting the member needs.”

“Chris made time for discussing things we’re looking into doing at our CU from a lending strategy perspective, helped us further with building a credit culture, and discussed what to expect when we become a larger organization.”

Spots for 2023 are still available and 2024 is filling up fast!  For more information about this and other courses we offer, please reach out to us at https://www.culendingadvice.com/contact-us
